Applying for state support becomes easier for exhibitors
On 22 September 2021, the Government of the Russian Federation approved amendments to Government Decree No. 2316 dated 28 December 2020, making it easier for exporters to apply for federal subsidies, starting from 2022. With the help of these subsidies, the business can compensate for the costs of participating in international exhibitions. Entrepreneurs will now be able to submit most documents electronically using the integrated digital platform "One Window", launched at the end of 2020 specifically to support export.
With state support, Russian businesses can compensate part of the costs of renting an exhibition area, furniture, and equipment, as well as paying registration fees.
The amount of state support for representatives of small and medium-sized businesses is 700 thousand RUB per event, and for representatives of large businesses – 2 million RUB per event. These cost-recovery subsidies are applicable for three events per year.
The applicants for state support are selected by the Russian Export Center. Africa Oil Week, organized by Hyve, has already been included in this REC list.
The 31st autumn food and drink exhibition WorldFood Moscow will take place on 20–23 September 2022 at Crocus Expo.
