


Every autumn, the WorldFood Moscow exhibition becomes the main meeting point for food market specialists on the eve of the new business season. Russian and foreign food and beverage manufacturers participating in WorldFood Moscow negotiate with buyers, sign new contracts, expand the geography of their sales and find customers among exhibition visitors. But who exactly visits WorldFood Moscow?


One of the main advantages of WorldFood Moscow is the wide geographical coverage of visitors. In 2023, the exhibition was visited by 20,115 food industry specialists from 72 countries and 83 regions of Russia. This is 8% more than a year earlier. 75% of visitors came from Moscow and the Moscow region, 17% from Russian regions, and 8% from foreign networks.
WorldFood Moscow is visited by representatives of wholesale trade (37%), retailers (18%), food manufacturers (18%) and HoReCa specialists (7%). They all hold different positions in their companies. The exhibition is attended by company owners and their deputies (40%), heads of functional departments (23%), managers responsible for purchasing and the assortment matrices (33%), as well as individual entrepreneurs (4%).

The share of new visitors at the 2023 exhibition was 49%. At the same time, 37% of specialists said that they only visit WorldFood Moscow.
95% of exhibition visitors make purchasing decisions in their company, and 61% are ready to purchase based on the WorldFood Moscow results. 66% of visitors visited WorldFood Moscow in 2023 to search for food suppliers.
