// Cereals
The volume of cereal production amounted to 1.7 million tons, which is 5.5% less than a year earlier.
// Flour
The production of wheat and wheat-rye flour for the reporting period amounted to 8 million tons, a decrease of 5.1% in annual terms.
// Sugar
The production of white beet sugar without flavoring and coloring additives reached 5.4 million tons, which is 6.7% lower than in January-November 2024.
// Sunflower oil
The volume of production of unrefined sunflower oil and its fractions amounted to 6.4 million tons, which is 14.1% less compared to the same period last year.
// Tea and coffee
According to the Kontur.Focus service, as of December 1, 2025, 1.37 thousand companies are registered in Russia, the main activity of which is the production of tea and coffee. Over the year, their number increased by 7.7%. The main growth in the segment is provided by coffee. According to Rosstat, in January-October 2025, coffee production in Russia amounted to 72.8 thousand tons, an increase of 17.4% year-on-year. According to BusinesStat, by the end of 2025, the volume of coffee production reached 157 thousand tons. At the same time, tea production for ten months of 2025 decreased by 8.9% to 85.2 thousand tons.

// Pasta
According to the forecast of the National Academy of Pasta and similar flour products in the Russian Federation by the end of 2025, the total production of pasta and similar flour products was supposed to be about 1.47 million tons.
According to Agroexport, in January-October 2025, Russia exported more than 116 thousand tons of pasta worth over 173 million US dollars. In value terms, the volume of exports increased by 23% compared to the same period last year.
// Snacks and chips
The snack market showed a slowdown in growth in 2025. For the 12 months to November 2025, physical sales in the category increased by 0.3% year-on-year.

// Demand for sunflower seeds and salty snacks (crackers, popcorn) increased by 2.6%
// Sales of nuts increased by 1.5%
// Salty biscuits showed an increase of 1.3%
Sales of dried fish snacks decreased by 7% in volume terms with an increase in monetary terms by 9%. Chips showed a decrease of 3% in volume terms and an increase of 10.8% in money. According to preliminary estimates, the production of potato chips in Russia in 2025 amounted to 150-155 thousand tons.
It is noteworthy that Russia is among the largest exporters of potato chips in the world. According to Agroexport, for 11 months of 2025, about 53 thousand tons of products worth $233 million were delivered abroad, which is 7% in physical terms and 22% in value terms higher than the record of 2024.

From March 1, 2025, mandatory labeling of certain types of groceries in the Chestny ZNAK system is being gradually introduced in Russia. From May 1, 2025, the labeling applies to snack products, from July 1 - to sauces, spices, seasonings, spices, dry broths, dry soups and vinegars.
Between November 2025 and February 2026, an experiment is underway to label pasta, flour, breakfast cereals, instant potatoes and honey. The experiment is carried out on a voluntary and gratuitous basis.

// Snacks: according to industry research, 97.5% of Russians buy products in this category at least once a year. The sales leaders for the period July 2024 - June 2025 were potato chips and seeds.
At the same time, there is a trend towards Asian themes: according to O'Key, in the second half of 2025, the company recorded an increase in demand for Asian cuisine. For example, in the fourth quarter, sales of Asian snacks increased more than 11 times compared to the previous quarter. Interest in Asian sauces and seasonings has also increased (+48%).
// Coffee and tea: according to experts, the development of the coffee segment is associated with the expansion of takeaway coffee formats and the growth in the number of coffee outlets in retail. In the tea category, there is still high competition between manufacturers, while a niche of new tea drinks is developing - rare varieties and blends with the addition of herbs, vitamins and other components.
